  • Dial 1-800-ABC-HACC, M-F, 7:30am to 8:00pm and ask to be transferred to one of the extensions below. After 8:00pm and on weekends, dial (717) 780 plus the extension desired.

How do I access the HACC Library & Information Resources online services from my home?
To use online resources from an off-campus site you must have Internet access and a web browser like Netscape or Internet Explorer - version 4.0 or greater. You can access our homepage at http://lib2.hacc.edu/. Some databases and forms require each user to validate themselves by using their barcode number located on the HACC ID. If you do not have a HACC ID, please contact the circulation desk at a HACC Campus Library near you.

 

How can I get books or articles?
You may use the request forms on the Library & Information Resources home page. You will need to submit a separate request for each item. You may request to have books delivered to any HACC Campus Library. Articles will be delivered electronically.

How long will it take?
If you request an item HACC owns, our goal is to make it available within 48 hours or less. If we do not own the item , please allow 2 weeks for delivery.

How long may I keep library books?
Books may be checked out for 2 weeks with one renewal. For renewals, check my account or contact the circulation desk.

To what other libraries do I have access?
HACC Library & Information Resources is a member of the Associated College Libraries of Central PA (ACLCP). With your valid HACC ID, you have access to 20 college libraries in Central PA. Each College sets its own borrowing policies.
